FEATURES OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS PERSONALITY
Abstract
The article summarizes the results of reporting
university teachers on the issue of their image of an
expert, researcher, citizen and student. The most important
features of the university teacher infl uencing his/her
professional activity have been marked and differences
have been revealed in the views of teachers with various
terms of experience concerning the individual characteristics
that make teaching practice most effi cient. The study
has also shown a rather high interest of university teachers
in research, though they consider it an important factor to
be allocated an additional vacation for being involved in
this activity.
