Formation of learning activity motivation

Abstract

The article defines the term motivation,
considers the problem of motivating students in terms of
two, proposed by American psychologists D. Hockenbury
and S. Hockenbury. The author analyzes the student-teacher
relations and student-classroom conditions, which directly
affect students motivation and success in their learning
activity. Students possess inherent motivation of their own,
but their classroom engagement depends on how well or
how poorly their teachers support that motivation. The author
states that both classroom conditions and the teachers
motivating style influence the students motivation level, make
the students more involved into the process of studying and
develop more efficient motivation stimuli.
