TRENDS IN DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION: INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

The article is concerned with the formation
and development of social work education abroad. It deals
with universal objectives of national social work educational
systems which testify to the social work educational
system having transferred to competence-based model
reflecting the integration of theory and practice, content
and methods of teaching, students and teachers interests
as well as interdisciplinary approach. The article also indicates
the strategies of contemporary social work education
development.
