A study of the figurative-symbolical language development in school teachers

Abstract

An analysis of the figurativesymbolical
language as a result of the figurative-
symbolical thinking expressing the content
of the personality values and senses and her/
his ability for independent generation of metaphoric
images is given first. Then the results of
an empirical estimation of the levels of development
of the figurative-symbolical thinking in
reference to such its characteristics as breadth,
profundity, originality and ability to represent
the world in the emotionally metaphoric form
in teachers of comprehensive schools in different
regions of Russia are presented
