DETERMINATION OF MIGRANTS' ETHNIC IDENTITY IN THE MOVEMENT OF PSYCOANALYSIS

Abstract

The ethnic identity is considered in the movement of psychoanalysis as an ethno psychological phenomenon representing itself such a part of the self-concept, which comes into existence from awareness of belonging to the particular ethnic community and includes the system of ethnic differentiating features. This subjective consciousness offers the continuum with determinacy of ethnic identity on its first pole and indeterminateness on another one. The given description of ethnic identity is an extremely significant indicator of stability level in interethnic relations.
