Transformation of the Locus of Control When Working with Generative Neural Networks in Art and Pedagogical Education: From External Attribution to Informed Management

Abstract

Aim. To provide a theoretical substantiation of the psychological and pedagogical mechanism of transforming external locus of control into internal one when working with generative neural networks in art and pedagogical education.

Methodology. The research is based on a theoretical analysis and synthesis of the principles of psychological theories that determine the dynamics of locus of control, as well as on the methods of interpretation and modelling.

Results. A three-stage model of locus of control transformation (external attribution – competence crisis – conscious management) has been developed. It is grounded in dialectical logic and the dynamics of cognitive, activity-based, and motivational-meaning dimensions.

Research implications. An approach to integrating neural networks into art and pedagogical education is proposed, considering the psychological mechanisms that determine the trajectory of mastering this technology. Pedagogical recommendations for implementing this approach are formulated.
