В статье рассматриваются вопросы развития терминологии педагогической психологии во второй половине XIX - первой четверти XX вв. Начальный этап нового направления мы связываем с педагогической деятельностью Л.Н. Толстого и введением в научный оборот ряда специальных лексем, отражающих взгляды выдающегося русского писателя на воздействие общественной жизни, формирующей человека. Обращение к трудам П.Ф. Каптерева, В.И. Бехтерева, А.Ф. Лазурского раскрыло роль отечественных психологов в становлении и развитии ряда теоретических понятий и соответствующих средств выражения в области практической психологии образования в аспекте психологии воздействия, арт-терапии и артпедагогики.
The article takes into consideration the questions of the terminology of pedagogical psychology in the second half of the 19th- the beginning of the 20th centuries. The author connects the initial step of that tendency with L. Tolstoy’s pedagogical activity, as well as with the introduction a number of specific lexemes into scientific rotation. These lexemes reflect the views of the outstanding Russian writer on the impact of social life on people’s outlook. The use of works of P. Kapterev, V.I. Behterev and A.F. Lazursky revealed the role of Russian psychologists introducing and development of some theoretical concepts and means ways of their expression in the sphere of practical psychology of education in the aspect of psychology of influence, art- therapy and art-pedagogy.
