Цель. Изучить отношение к криптовалюте у молодежи с разным опытом финансового поведения. Процедура и методы. В исследовании приняли участие 263 респондента (средний возраст 23,3 года; 45% мужчины). В общей выборке были выделены две группы респондентов: имеющих и не имеющих опыта обращения с криптовалютами. В работе использовались метод свободных ассоциаций, оригинальный авторский опросник отношения к криптовалютам, метод анкетирования. Результаты. Согласно полученным данным, респонденты, имеющие опыт обращения с криптовалютами, видят в её применении потенциальные возможности как источника дохода, не имеющие такого опыта связывают с криптовалютами страхи и опасения.1 Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Выявлено различие в отношениях к новой технологии в области экономики. Оно указывает на разные механизмы экономико-психологической адаптации молодых людей с разным опытом финансового поведения. В одном случае отношение к криптовалюте выполняет «защитную» функцию, в другом - функцию «рационализации».

Aim. To study the attitude to the crypto-currency among youths with various experience of financial behavior. Methodology. The study involved 263 respondents (average age 23.3 years; 45% are men). In the general sample two groups of respondents were identified: with and without experience in handling the crypto-currencies. The methods used are: free associations, the original author’s questionnaire of attitudes towards crypto-currencies, the method of survey. Results. The research showed that in the group of users, this phenomenon is perceived primarily from the point of view of its prospects and the possibility of earning money. The group of non-users showed fear and anxiety towards the crypto-currencies . Research implications. The difference in the attitudes to the new technology in the field of economics is revealed. It indicates the different mechanisms of economic-psychological adaptation of young people with different experience of financial behavior. In one case, the attitude towards crypto-currency performs a “protective” function, in the other - the function of “rationalization.
