В статье на материале романа «Тихий Дон» М.А. Шолохова исследованы обра- зов обоняния, воплощающей способность человека «мыслить запахами», образами запахов социального и природного мира. В основе работы - полиаспектное описа- ние лексики одоративного восприятия и чувственного представления как средства репрезентации внутреннего движения сюжета романа. Текст романа Шолохова ана- лизируется с привлечением опыта и достижений психологии и литературоведения. The main purpose of our work is to collaborate to understanding of image of sense of smell basing of content of novel «Quiet flows the Don» written by M.A. Sholohov. These images represent the possibility of M.A. Sholohov to thinking «by smell», by images of smell of human and natural world. This work based on the many-sided description of the olfactory perception and sensual representation as the way to show internal motion of plot. Text of novel is analyzed with attraction of experience and achievements of psychology and theory and history of literature.
