<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Aim</title><p>Aim. Identification of the nature and features of the relationship between the socio-psychological characteristics of students: self-compassion and the level of perceived stress.</p>
<title>Methodology</title><p>Methodology. The research methods include a theoretical analysis of the concepts of self-compassion and perceived stress, as well as an empirical study of students using techniques such as the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) adapted by E. N. Osin et al. and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) in adaptations by A. A. Zolotareva.</p>
<title>Results</title><p>Results. The relationship between the indicators of self-compassion and perceived stress among students has been revealed. The most significant were such direct positive correlations as between the general level of perceived stress, the distress factor and self-criticism, self-isolation; such reverse negative correlations as between the general level of perceived stress, the distress factor and the general level of self-compassion.</p><p>Research implications lie in the disclosure of opportunities and prospects for further research and practical work in the field of providing psychological and pedagogical assistance to students experiencing high levels of stress, as well as demonstrating high rates of self-criticism and self-isolation.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>воспринимаемый стресс</kwd><kwd>сочувствие к себе</kwd><kwd>самоизоляция</kwd><kwd>самокритика</kwd><kwd>студенческая группа</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd> perceived stress</kwd><kwd>self-compassion</kwd><kwd>self-isolation</kwd><kwd>self-criticism</kwd><kwd>student group</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Баранчукова А.
