Цель. Теоретическое обоснование и эмпирическая оценка психологической типологии репродуктивного поведения человека, основанной на учёте индивидуальных особенностей его психической регуляции и предусматривающей три типа: активный, инактивный и пассивный.Процедура и методы. Эмпирическое исследование проведено на гетерохронной и гетерогенной популяционной выборке взрослых жителей Республики Беларусь (N = 3 312). Эмпирические данные собраны с помощью анкетного опроса и стандартизированных психодиагностических методик «Шкала ценностного отношения к детям» и «Смыслометрический анализ ребёнка».Результаты. Построена психорегулятивная типология репродуктивного поведения, в рамках которой дифференцируются активный, инактивный и пассивный типы. Выявлены психологические различия личностно-смысловой регуляции и осознанной саморегуляции репродуктивного поведения, характерные для носителей разных его типов.Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость заключается в выявлении психологических особенностей, механизмов и закономерностей личностно-смысловой регуляции и осознанной саморегуляции разнотипного репродуктивного поведения взрослых, а также в возможности использования полученных результатов в практической (консультативной, коррекционной, терапевтической) работе с индивидами и семьями, испытывающими психологические трудности в принятии репродуктивных решений.

Aim. To theoretically analyze and empirically assess the psychological typology of human reproductive behavior, based on individual characteristics of its self-regulation and comprising three behavioral types such as active, inactive, and passive.Methodology. The empirical study was conducted on a heterochronic and heterogeneous populationbased sample of adult residents of the Republic of Belarus (N = 3,312). Empirical data was collected with use of a questionnaire survey and the standardized psychological diagnostic instruments such as the “Value of Children Scale” and the “Smyslometria of the Child.”Results. The psychological regulatory typology of reproductive behavior that differentiate active, inactive, and passive types was developed. Psychological differences in personal meaning regulation and conscious self-regulation of reproductive behavior, characteristics of individuals exhibiting different types were identified.Research implications consist in revealing the psychological features, mechanisms, and patterns of personal meaning regulation and conscious self-regulation of diverse types of reproductive behavior in adults. The results can be utilized in practical (consultative, corrective, therapeutic) work with individuals and families experiencing psychological difficulties in making reproductive decisions.
