Данные многочисленных исследований зарубежных коллег, не освещенные до настоящего момента в отечественной литературе, могут быть особенно полезны в связи с растущим интересом к этому методу в России. Неоспоримые преимущества библиотерапии, такие как низкая стоимость терапевтических процедур, возможность дистанционной работы без потери результативности, а также широкий спектр решаемых с ее помощью проблем, делают метод особенно перспективным для дальнейшей разработки.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is dedicated to the main stages of development of bibliotherapy in relation to the experience of European English-speaking countries and the United States. Data from numerous studies of foreign colleagues, not covered in the literature until now, can be particularly useful in connection with the growing interest in the method in Russia.
